First of all, the cottage setting and location was spectacular. We have already recommended the Blue Aurora to five of our friends after sharing the pictures that we took during our stay. We really appreciated the modern, light-filled main and second floors. The grounds were very well laid out and the access to the rocky beach on Lake Huron was fantastic. We were blown away by the sunsets each night. We were also able to take advantage of the kayaks and paddle board. Great that there were plenty of life jackets available. The firepit and chairs were enjoyed every clear night. Inside, the rooms were exactly as shown and described in the rental listing. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and tidy for our stay. The room layout provided areas for being together and space to do our own things. The upper deck is a real treat and the lower deck was very useful and accessible. The house is simply spectacular. We also appreciated the welcome note and Grey Bruce Cottage’s follow up during our stay. All in all, the owners were very generous with what we were able to use at the house. Our experience at Blue Aurora exceeded our expectations.

It features three comfy-cozy bedrooms, stunning verandas with spectacular views of Lake Huron's Dorcas Bay, fully equipped kitchen with island, massive open concept great room with fireplace, and immediate water access to the water. There is even onsite laundry.

The modern comforts of the cabin allow you to relax without having to worry if something will go wrong like in older cabins. Simply sit back with a glass of wine, a book or meditation podcast and enjoy the stunning views.

The Blue Aurora resides in the highly desirable 'Dorcas Bay' area of Lake Huron near Tobermory on the Northern Bruce Peninsula. Home to some of the Peninsula's most well-healed known for its astonishingly beautiful water vistas, sunsets, access to recreational scenic trail-ways, sandy beaches (Singing Sands Provincial Park) and close proximity to the Bruce Peninsula National Park, Cyprus Lake and the famous Grotto.

The new Foodland grocery store opened January 19th on nearby Highway 6, with an expanded selection of the finest foods to serve the Peninsula elite. You will find all the foods of home, with a local flare.

Enjoy the Bruce Tail, OFSCA regulated snowmobile trails, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and much more.

2. Privacy: there is no road between the cottage and the waterfront - you have immediate water access on a private lot.
