Set along a quiet stretch of Eagle Road on the western edge of the Northern Bruce Peninsula, Driftwood offers a front-row seat to one of Ontario’s most captivating natural landscapes. Overlooking the pristine waters of Lake Huron and located just minutes from Tobermory, this setting blends tranquility, adventure, and raw coastal beauty in perfect balance.

From Driftwood, many of the Bruce Peninsula’s most iconic destinations are within easy reach. Bruce Peninsula National Park, the legendary Grotto, and multiple access points to the Bruce Trail are all nearby, offering unforgettable hiking through rugged cliffs, dense forest, and scenic lookouts high above Georgian Bay. Hidden coves, quiet beaches, and dramatic viewpoints are part of everyday exploration here.

A short drive north brings you into Tobermory, home to Fathom Five National Marine Park. From the harbour, you can take glass-bottom boat tours, kayak or ferry to Flowerpot Island, or snorkel and dive among historic shipwrecks in crystal-clear water. Tobermory itself offers a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, with a marina, boutique shops, local galleries, and waterfront dining featuring fresh whitefish and local craft beer.

Weather in Grey-Bruce can be unpredictable. Snow clearing follows a set schedule and is not on demand. Travel during storms is at your own risk, and cancellations due to weather do not alter the cancellation policy.
