Tobermory is a picturesque harbour village located at the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and dramatic limestone formations, the village is known for its natural beauty, maritime history, and relaxed coastal atmosphere. Tobermory serves as a gateway to some of the province’s most iconic outdoor experiences.

Just southeast of the village lies Bruce Peninsula National Park, home to rugged sections of the Niagara Escarpment and the famous Bruce Trail, Canada’s oldest and longest marked footpath. One of the park’s most celebrated features is the Grotto, a wave-carved limestone cave with striking turquoise water that draws visitors from around the world.

Adjacent to the village is Fathom Five National Marine Park, Canada’s first national marine park. The area is renowned for its clear water, historic shipwrecks, and unique underwater geology. Boat tours and ferries depart from Tobermory to Flowerpot Island, famous for its towering limestone sea stacks, caves, scenic hiking trails, and 19th-century lighthouses.

Weather in Grey-Bruce can be unpredictable. Snow clearing follows a set schedule and is not on demand. Travel during storms is at your own risk, and cancellations due to weather do not alter the cancellation policy.

3. Evergreen is a cottage with a rustic vibe. If you are looking for perfection in every corner, this is not the place for you.
