Dorcas Bay is a peaceful and scenic area located along the western shores of the Bruce Peninsula, just south of the harbour town of Tobermory. Opening onto Lake Huron, the bay is known for its crystal-clear water, wide sandy shoreline, and spectacular sunsets. The area lies within the boundaries of Bruce Peninsula National Park, placing it in one of Ontario’s most unique ecological and geological regions.

The neighbourhood is primarily rural and cottage-based, making it especially appealing to seasonal visitors and those seeking a quiet retreat. Properties are largely private cottages and vacation homes, many with lake access or views, tucked among trees for privacy. The atmosphere is calm and uncrowded, with nature taking centre stage.
