Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cottage. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked well for our family of 6 adults, a toddler and a baby. The kitchen facilities were plentiful, however we could’ve used some cupboard space for our bread, snacks and other dry goods. The keurig machine needs to be checked as well as the patio door that wouldn’t slide without much muscle. (Silicone required?) Plenty of outdoor space, gorgeous surroundings, lots of sun and shade. The steps between the upper and lower grounds were a little precarious – uneven and always wet, as well as the one section of upper paved sidewalk. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat and the fire pit! Our questions were answered punctually and we appreciated the earlier arrival time! The welcome gifts were a nice touch (and appreciated), but really, not necessary – perhaps just one item would be enough and still give that welcoming feeling. Overall my kids said it was the nicest cottage I’d rented and they’d love to go there again.

Quiet get away with day trips close by…. family fun paddle boating and kayaking too. The accommodations were well suited for us (six adults and two kids)
