The Aida features over 135' of beautiful Lake Huron waterfront with a rocky shoreline to sit and enjoy the amazing sunsets!.
Imagine, enjoying a relaxing moment on the water-side deck as the sun dips to the horizon. The kids are playing on the shoreline, while the aroma of dinner cooking on the BBQ wafts over. Cottage Life is all about these small special moments... and they are here waiting for you. This privately treed lot is 1.4 acres in size and located in a quiet neighbourhood of executive homes. The Aida features a long private winding driveway. You can't see the home from the road for added privacy.
Select one of five outdoor deck areas to enjoy depending on the weather - have morning coffee in the screened porch, soak up the southerly sun in the afternoon, sit by the lake or cool down in the shade of the lower level deck, and enjoy the covered porch even when raining. This 3,000s sq. ft. year-round cottage offers a large open concept living area. The living room provides for a bright and airy space with a wall of windows to let in the natural light, while enjoying the cozy fireplace. The dining area has a walkout to the screened Peninsula Room, and easy access to the kitchen with breakfast bar.
The primary suite is spacious with a WIC and 3Pc Ensuite - your own private oasis to sleep in - go ahead, hit snooze. Your family or friends will love the lower level family room for games or a perfect gym space. The den also provides a nice home office, and with a large pantry plus laundry machine, you can extend those cottage stays even longer.
Located within 20 minutes to Lion's Head and the Bruce Trail, or 45 minutes to Tobermory, the Grotto & more! Enjoy the stars in this dark sky community - while roasting marshmallows and making s'mores.
Make your dream vacation a reality!
Neighborhood
Enjoy every minute of nature, including the private Hobsons Harbour Drive, recognized a provincial 'Scenic Route'. A quick drive with have land in the cute town of Lion's Head, home to the White Bluffs and Lion's Head Lookout Bruce Trail trailheads. Be careful with your speed, this is a family oriented community. We highly recommend a walk along Hobsons Harbour Drive to the dead end, or a boat tour along the coastline at sunset. Although the house has private lake access, there are also one popular public accesses that are each a few kilometres away. If you feel like a little different scenery while swimming - it is only steps away! There is also a sandy beach within about 15 minute drive.
Native Land Acknowledgment
