With its bright, wood-accented interiors and tranquil forest setting, this cozy cottage offers the perfect sanctuary for slowing down, reconnecting, and embracing the quiet beauty of the Bruce Peninsula in winter.

Freshly laundered linens are provided and placed in each room upon arrival, allowing you to make up your own beds and create a comfortable, personal space for your stay.

The Whispering Dune Cottage is nestled in the heart of the Bruce Peninsula, just a short five-minute stroll to Singing Sands Beach — one of the region’s most peaceful and family-friendly stretches of shoreline. The neighbourhood is quiet, surrounded by whispering pines and open skies, offering guests a sense of privacy and calm while still being close to everything Tobermory has to offer.

Wake up to birdsong and gentle lake breezes, then wander through the dunes or explore the trails of Bruce Peninsula National Park, just minutes away. The famous Grotto — with its turquoise waters and cliffside views — is less than a 15-minute drive from your door.

A short drive north brings you to Tobermory village, a charming harbour town where you can browse local shops, enjoy fresh-caught fish, grab coffee at a lakeside café, or take a glass-bottom boat tour to Flowerpot Island. You’ll also find kayaking, paddleboarding, and snorkeling opportunities nearby, with clear waters and plenty of quiet coves to explore.

As the day winds down, return to the cottage and watch the sunset paint the sky over Lake Huron. Evenings here are peaceful — filled with crackling fire pits, starlit skies, and the soothing rhythm of nature.

Winter Weather Advisory
Weather in Grey-Bruce can be unpredictable. Snow clearing follows a set schedule and is not on demand. Travel during storms is at your own risk, and cancellations due to weather do not alter the cancellation policy.
